Tell me about the Food Pantry? Once qualified, individuals and families can use the pantry once every 30 days. You will receive 3-5 days’ worth of food for every member of your family. Also available for our clients are personal hygiene items, diapers and feminine products.

What are the Pantry hours? The food pantry is open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday we are open from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

I am homeless. Can you help? While we share a building, the shelter is operated by the Transitional Living Center. Their phone is 262-767-1478.

Do you offer rent assistance? Yes. As the Salvation Army agency for the area, we receive the funds generated from the Red Kettle Christmas campaign in our area for this purpose. However, the funds are limited and are only used in emergency situations and when the client has the means to pay the balance of the rent due.

Do you offer energy assistance?  We offer limited help through our Salvation Army funds. We also encourage anyone struggling to contact Racine County’s Energy Assistance program at 262-633-6000.

Can you tell me about your medical equipment program? We have a variety of equipment that anyone can borrow and keep for as long as needed. Since it is first come, first served we suggest you call the office (262-763-6226) to see if we have what you need in stock. If we do, we’ll be happy to hold it for you for 3 days.
