Adopt-A-Family
This program was established to help families by providing them with a happy and peaceful Christmas for the children (gifts for children and their parents). Each year, families, individuals, churches and businesses from the community “adopt” one or more needy families and anonymously provide gifts for Christmas.
Children Service Society of Wisconsin
Provides individual and family counseling for children and their families. The agency takes most forms of insurance and has a sliding scale fee for families without insurance. Children’s Service Society website: www.cssw.org
Winter Wraps
Each year Love, Inc. sets aside good winter coats, hats, gloves and snow pants that have been donated by the community. In September, before the winter season sets in, these coats are given away to children, adolescents and their parents in need of warm winter wear.
Shoes for Kids
Using cash donations from churches and individuals, Love, Inc. works with families in Western Racine Counties to purchase new school shoes for kids (K-12). Last year we purchased over 400 pairs of shoes and gave away 65 backpacks filled with new school supplies.
Family Services Counseling
Family Services of Racine offers low cost counseling for those without insurance. Contact Family Services to schedule an appointment here at Love, Inc. call 262-634-2391.
Food Pantry
Donations of food and money from our community allow us to provide food and personal care items for over 800 people monthly. Families and individuals must live in Western Racine County. Families must make incomes lower then the state poverty guidelines. Proof of income eligibility, residency and household size is required. Over 300 families, individuals and senior households utilize this program.

Salvation Army
Love, Inc. recruits all of the volunteers to ring the bells throughout Western Racine County. 87% of the money raised during this campaign directly benefits Love, Inc. We use that money to assist families and individuals with either emergency hotel nights, rent, energy costs or medical emergencies.
Teacher’s LOVE
This program provides school supplies and clothing to kids in need. Teachers can anonymously request basic clothing, shoes, coats and school supplies for the children in their class. Last year over 200 children received help through Teacher’s Love.
Thanksgiving Basket
Donations of turkeys and trimmings, along with monetary donations allow Love, Inc. to provide Thanksgiving dinner for over 600 families.
Toy Run
Provides Christmas gifts for needy families. This program is funded by the motorcycle toy run sponsored by the Tri-County Riders.
Client Assistance
Clothing and household items from our Thrift Stores are given to people in need. We also provide assistance with prescriptions, diapers and formula.
Financial Management
Clients who wish to have assistance in learning how to pay their bills and set financial priorities and goals are helped through this program.
Iris Paepke Foundation
The Iris Paepke Foundation is a community funded program to give small low interest loans to those clients who may be unable to qualify for other low interest loans.
Tax Preparation
Free tax help is available February through April for low income and senior citizens. Call or email to schedule an appointment at office@love-inc.net.
The Morrow House
Transitional Living Center runs a transitional two family home in Burlington. Families can stay there for up to 90 days while working towards goals of self sufficiency. Contact Christan 262-767-1478.
Rental Assistance
For those families that qualify, a one time per year rent voucher is available paid directly to their landlord. Last year nearly 200 people received help with their rent.
Transitional Living Center
The TLC program is designed to help the homeless help themselves by providing Christian compassionate Care. TLC operates a short term emergency shelter above the Love, Inc. building. This shelter is for women and children. The clients in the TLC program are encouraged to participate in many of Love, Inc.’s programs. Contact Christan 262-767-1478.
