Helping 1000+ households each and every year.

Over 1000 different households in Western Racine County receive services through Love, Inc. each year.

  • Nearly 10,000 family members are fed each year. through our Food Pantry.
  • About 900 children are “adopted” each year during our Christmas assistance program.
  • Approximately 1,500 pieces of medical equipment are loaned out each year through our Medical Supply program.

But the true way in which lives are touched each day go way beyond statistics. With ongoing community support, Love, Inc. and its partners continually provide aid to those facing hardship, disaster and financial challenges. Love is a place where real lives are turned around.

Through food and financial donations from our community, individuals and families in need receive nutritional assistance through our food pantry.

Vouchers for Needed Items

Love, Inc. stores are part of the voucher program for qualified families and students in need of supplies, clothing and household items.

Individual Client Assistance

Social Services staff empower individuals and families in addressing specific challenges. In addition, our staff also helps families navigate through the state and county human services systems. The social workers at Love, Inc. provide assistance and guidance to our clients enabling them to lead fuller, more productive lives.

Evening Meal Site

Nutritious weekday evening meals and fellowship are provided in the Love, Inc. kitchen through area churches, families and community groups. Dinner is served Monday through Friday from 5-6p.m.

Life Span Learning

Throughout the year we have supportive and educational sessions designed to improve the quality of life for individuals and families in our community. From early childhood skill building to elder engagement, Life Span learning opportunities is an important part of helping our neighbors in need cope with life’s challenges.

Students in Need Program (Shoes and School Supplies)

Each Fall, Love, Inc. provides the necessary supplies to disadvantaged students so they can begin the school year prepared for success. This community funded program also includes shoes for kids and aid for teachers from area schools who can request needed clothing and supplies for their students throughout the year.

Thanksgiving Dinner Program

Families celebrate a special Thanksgiving meal tradition through this community supported annual program.

Food items are provided for a complete holiday meal that families prepare in their own homes.

Adopt-A-Family Christmas Program

Love, Inc. and local sponsors help make a joyous Christmas possible for low income families. Community sponsors adopt families in need and provide Christmas gifts for the family.

To participate, families must meet our income and residency qualifications.

Winter Warmth

Gently used coats, hats, scarves, mittens and gloves are available to children and adults during the cold Wisconsin winter months.

Medical Crisis Fund

This special fund assists with expenses to bridge the gap when clients are faced with unexpected medical complications. This fund provides for basic needs and additional social service support.

Financial Assistance

A financial assistance program to those on Social Security Disability requiring a representative payee to provide assistance and support ensuring expenses are paid in a timely manner. Social workers work individually with clients to offer financial management advice to help them reach their monetary goals.

Referral Services

Love, Inc. staff aids in answering questions and helping individuals navigate through the human services system.
