Last week we were the fortunate recipients of a volunteer crew from Aurora Health Care to assist in the Love, Inc. mission of helping our neighbors in need. Sixteen participants from a variety of Aurora departments and facilities in Southeast Wisconsin arrived over 2 days to donate their service in the Food Pantry.
Last year the Aurora Cares group shared their skills by giving a fresh coat of paint to storage areas in the new Home Thrift Store. This year the group assisted clients in the Love, Inc. Food Pantry by putting together frozen food bags for distribution and sorting food items from the Feeding America delivery. The Medical Supply Closet also got an organizing facelift from these helpful volunteers.
