During the month of May, volunteers donated 1,816 hours of service to the Love, Inc. mission. Jan is one of these volunteers. Jan has been a volunteer at Love, Inc. since September of 2016. In her time with Love, she primarily has volunteered in the food pantry, helping clients in need access and utilize the pantry program. Aside from working side by side with clients, Jan goes above and beyond to help with cleaning, sorting, and stocking the pantry. Jan is always one of the first to jump in to give extra volunteer hours for events that occur outside of her normal schedule in the pantry. During our largest food drive of the year in May, Jan donated three full time days of work to help us sort over 6,000 pounds of food. Volunteers like Jan are what helps make this organization successful for the community!
