An education is one of the most important things to finding success in life, which makes it even more precious and significant for kids coming from poor and disadvantaged families. When local children facing those challenges need a hand, the Love, Inc. Student’s in Need assistance program is here to help.
In addition to providing school supplies at the start of a new school year for children of families meeting income and residency guidelines, this student-centered service also includes help for teachers helping their students in Western Racine County with supplies and clothing needs throughout the year.
May 7th is National Teacher Appreciation Day. The Love, Inc. Kids Store is joining the national recognition with a special deal for local school teachers. On May 7th during the hours of 2 PM and 4:30 PM, teachers of Western Racine County get to choose 5 free books from their book nook for just stopping by their store on 466 S. Pine Street in Burlington. Participating teachers need show their current school ID in order to qualify for the giveaway.
