Love, Inc. recently held an appreciation luncheon for the amazing church and service group volunteers that prepare and serve hot meals each weekday evening for our Meal Site Program. This heartwarming program has been operating for almost 20 years at Love, Inc. in Burlington. A special focus of the evening meal is to provide opportunities for people to have social interaction along with a nutritious meal. Last year over 6,000 meals were served through the generous time and efforts of these special volunteers.
Meals are served between 5:00 and 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Anyone walking through the door in need of a hot meal or friendly conversation is welcome.
