Students from Aurora University in Illinois spent their Spring Break taking advantage of service learning opportunities at Love, Inc.
During the week of March 4th to 8th, volunteer participants from the school’s Alternative Spring Break Program participated in various areas of our agency experiencing a number of behind the scenes operations that provide support to our mission and goals.
From Monday through Friday, members of the student group were seen helping to paint office spaces, serving lunch, sorting toy donations, organizing store department areas, cleaning carpets and stocking the food pantry.
We are grateful and deeply appreciative of their project work and time shared with Southern Lakes Area Love, Inc.
